Adding Hazards

  1. From the SmartSolve Portal Page, click the Home tab.
  2. In the Setup and Policy section, click Setup.
  3. In the Risk section, click Hazard.
    Result: The Hazard list window is displayed.
  4. Click Add New Record.
    Result: The Hazard entry window is displayed.
  1. Enter the name of the new hazard.
  2. Enter a description of the hazard.
  3. Click the drop down button and select the risk probability associated with the harm, such as Improbable. Once the risk probability is selected, a numeric value representing the probability is displayed. For information on configuration, see Risk Probabilities.
  1. Click the Submit button.
    Result: The new hazard has been added to the Hazard list window with a status of Active.
